Lately I've been thinking a lot about the States. And besides the obvious things like family and friends which are givens, there are so many things I miss. When our family friend Mark went off to boot camp, they told them to write a list of things they wanted to have to eat when they got home after having boot camp food for what seemed like forever I'm sure. I thought it was sweet, especially when you see the adorable-ness of some of the things he wrote (mom's cooking) and think of the tough egg-head (I say that with love) who wrote them. And let's face it, here in Holland, there are just not as many things available. Or it costs way more. Or it's just not the same. Also I'm really hungry right now. Also, I'm a fat kid at heart. And so, without the toughness (or egg-headedness I hope) here are the...
TOP TEN THINGS I'M GOING TO EAT WHEN I GO HOME
Chipotle- Burrito Bowl with chicken, peppers, all salsas, rice, and black beans
Chevy's- chips and salsa, margarita, and flautas
Panda Express- Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao chicken, chow mein,
Jamba Juice- Strawberries Wild, no bananas, extra fro-yo
Costco - Polish Day with spicy mustard and Peach Iced Tea
Safeway- California Dreamin' Sandwich
Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
In n Out- Hamburger, Fries, and a Coke
Two Buck Chuck- Cabernet
Ole's Waffles- Mexican Omelet
Word of the Day: Ik heb honger - hungry (literally "I have hunger")
