So by now, the majority of the online world knows about
lolcats. It all started with this picture...
Ok here's my beef with this site (hamburger pun intended): Why must these cats be so uneducated? Or dogs, or squirrels, or whatever animal is currently featured. I do not understand. Every person who owns a cat or dog boasts about how smart their animal is, how they listen to everything we say, and how they're "the most human animal out there." So why do all of them have the oratory capacity of a three year old? Even worse, the blatant
attempts at misspellings. I mean, people who write these captions go
out of their way to write things incorrectly. It reminds me of sixth grade when we had slam books and it was cool to write "Dis ish meeh."
Ok so clearly, I was never one to really appreciate it...until I discovered that you can upload your own photos and have others create captions!! And now it's all over. Of course I had to upload a couple photos I had lying on my computer of my old cat Bif. Plus it's a nice trip down memory lane...LOOK HOW CUTE HE WAS!

My daughter and her bf find these kitties hysterical. I chuckle every so often, but I don't think they're nearly as funny as the B. Kliban kitties of the '80s. Oh, I think you've given me an idea for a post!
